White Rice
Ingredients:
454 grams of rice (1 pound)
3 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 ½ cups of water
1 tablespoon of salt
Procedure:
1. Sauté the garlic until golden brown and remove.
2. Stir in rice and sauté a little (stir to prevent burning).
3. Add the water and salt and cook over high heat until water is absorb.
4. Cover and simmer (about 7 minutes).
5. Fluff with a fork.
